UPDATE AT TOP....she thinks its the ROTOVIRUS!!!!! I can't believe this kid has freakin' diarrhea again!
I posted a couple of weeks ago about my friends son who I watch and how he had chronic diarrhea for 2 weeks, than got a cold and got DS sick over spring break. Again, yesterday he had 1 diarrhea diaper so I chopped it up to maybe something he ate. Today, AGAIN, diarrhea...I literally just changed 3, not 1, not 2, but 3 diarrhea diapers since 12:30. It is only 1:30!!!!! I am going to call her...this is insane. I am borderline ready to tell her I can't watch him anymore until she takes him to a f*cking dr. This is ridiculous!!! She's not the one changing him all day, I AM!!!!
ETA: IT SMELLS LIKE VOMIT!!!! It's disgusting. I am borderline ready to tell her I can't watch him anymore. I dont want to $crew her...there are only 4 months left until she is done teaching...but this ridiculous. This would not be acceptable in any daycare. I mean take your kid to the dr. And I told her she should be concerned about an allergy b/c it is NOT normal for a kid to have diarrhea 2 and 3x's a day!
UPDATE!!!
So, she just came to pick him up. I called her at 1:30 and she NEVER called back. I told her she should take him to a specialist b/c it is not normal, nor is it healthy. Than she tells me it may be rotovirus (her ped. apparently mentioned this to her a couple of weeks ago when she spoke to him but NEVER told me). I looked at her and said the Rotovirus is very dangerous b/c it can cause severe dehydration, besides the fact that it is highly contagious. She looks at me and goes, "oh, really?" Uh...hello...your an elementary school teacher and you have never heard of the Rotovirus. W T F!!!!!  She just thought it was a stomach bug that caused diarrhea for a few weeks. She said her and her mom looked it up on the internet and didnt think it was a big deal  Are people that freakin' stupid! Wait until I tell DH...he is going to be furious. If DS gets sick, which fortunately he has not b/c I wash my hands like crazy after changing him, I am going to be livid. And I told her this 2 weeks ago that he may have some type of a bacteria or virus in his system and should really bring him to a dr.

she has to take him to a doctor. diareaha is no joke. i hope that lil boy is not dehydrating. I would stop watching him as well.

DH is furious and wanted me to stop watching him after he got DS sick the last time. I just feel bad telling people no and I am WAY too accomodating. But I feel she is definetely taking advantage. Uggghhh...I wouldnt even know what to say to her if I decided I can't watch him anymore. It's just not fair to DS either.

uggh i feel for you. im the same way. i would have a hard time saying something also. but if the lil boy was around my kids and could posssibly get them sick i would have to say something. how old is the lil boy???

WOW! I would be livid!
She sounds like she is pretty careless to me, no offense to your friend. But if someone told me my DC *might* have Rotovirus, I wouldn't just shrug it off and try to self diagnose by looking up crap on the internet.

She sounds like she is pretty careless to me, no offense to your friend. But if someone told me my DC *might* have Rotovirus, I wouldn't just shrug it off and try to self diagnose by looking up crap on the internet.
She is more of a friend of a friend, otherwise I would be more comfortable telling her how I feel. I just feel bad but it is not fair to me or my DC.
I called my ped. to ask him and he said he probably would refer her to a GI if he were the ped. b/c if it is going on for 4 weeks it is probably a GI problem as opposed to rotovirus which he says generally doesnt last more than 10 days and is usually accompanied by a fever or vomiting this time of year. He told me that if DS has been exposed to a possible virus for 4 weeks and as not gotten anything he probably is not contagious...it is probably something else. I feel a little better but I am still ******. I am going to call her tomorrow and ask if she brought him to the ped. and if she didnt I am going to tell her I can't watch him until she does and can assure me it is not contagious.

You're right to be mad. And I think you should tell her he has to be cleared by a dr. before you watch him again. Don't feel bad. She sounds like a flake. I would feel awful making another mom clean that up so often. Not to mention how worried I would be if my DC had such a problem for so long.

OMGosh I'd be fuming! How can she just "shrug it off"...I kind of hope you told her you can't watch him tomorrow, better yet, you can't watch him until you see a Dr.s note.
You are 100% correct. No day care centers would put up with it and you should not have to either.

I agree. She's being very inconsiderate. I would never make someone else clean my DS's diarrhea diapers! Honestly, the more I think about this, the angrier I get 
And isn't she at all concerned as the mommy that her DS is constantly getting sick like this

OMG!! Unbelievable. It makes me wonder, since it's been going on for so long, if she actually took him to the ped or if she just researched it on line and assumed he had rotovirus????
I can't believe some people are so lax about stuff like this!!! Also, I would be so worried about the kids around my son if he was sick. I'd hate it if I knew my son got someone else sick.

If I had the nerve to bring my DD to day care with chronic diarreah, she would drop me like a hot potato.
You are being too nice, especially with your own son at risk. This woman sounds VERY selfish.
