Update! How to get rid of whiteheads at home?
Update:
I figured I'd update because there was 1 person on this post that was curious about what to do. I used a hot compress for 5 minutes morning and night, and it came off today! No scar or anything. I don't know if this also helped, but when I washed my face (with a cleanser that contains sacylic acid, I made sure to carefully rub some on the whitehead. I think because it was near my eye, I avoided washing there before, and the sacylic acid may have helped to loosen it up. Anyways, just thought I'd share because I thought it would never go away since I've had it for a few months.
Is just a hot compress going to work? How long should it take and how long should I keep the compress on? I've had it for a few months.

a whitehead? I'm sorry. I am no help. I pop any whiteheads that I've ever gotten and then I blot it with a cotton swab/pad and astringent.

if it's a whitehead that's been there for a few months, it may be a cyst, and I'd see a derm. about it.

I've had it for a few months.
I didn't see this part! if that's the case, then I agree with McLovin 100%

I think you may have little calcium deposits. Are they around your eyes?

It's funny you post this. I have 1 too. I think it appeared after getting pregnant. I wondered what could be done.

Re: Update! How to get rid of whiteheads at home?
I'm sorry - i haven't checked this thread in a while!
But yes - those aren't zits/whiteheads....they're your body's way of storing excess calcium!
I've had them on and off since i'm little. If they're close to the surface, a hot compress and a little squeeze will get rid of them. If they're tougher/deeper in the skin, any derm can extract them for you (it's just a skinny needle). I've actually removed a few myself with a sharp tweezer. (i wouldn't recommend that if it's really close to your eye!)

How do you know the difference between a whitehead and a calcium deposit?
