UPDATE IN 1ST POST...Any OPK experts?
I'm not really good at all this. I cannot temp to save my life (I am up way too many times at night). I cannot hold my pee ever.
Is it possible I O'd yesterday or this morning?
Clear Blue Digital Sticks yesterday morning: blank (FMU) yesterday afternoon: smiley face (3 hours) this morning: blank (FMU, well 5 hours)
I have some pain on my left side this morning, possible bloating/ O but who knows. I thought you got the smiley face for a few days leading up to O.
The package says you will O 24-48 hours after smiley. It seems a little soon for the digital to be blank again, no? Either way, I did BD last night thank goodness.
I am thoroughly confused as how OPK's work. I expected another smiley this morning.
Any thoughts or experience?
UPDATE: I tested again and got another smiley, so I guess this mornings OPK was WRONG and I didn't O yet ...I have a sharp pain in my left side. Ever since I had DS I get really bad ovulation pains, so I guess it's coming over the next few hours. I hope last night was enough as DH is out until about 2 am tonight and I'll be in no mood at that hour LOL.

Re: Any OPK experts?
I know the clearblue easy opks say you can test anytime, but most opks tell you to test in the afternoon as close to 2pm as you can get.
The reason is that the LH is synthesized in the morning and doesn't appear in your urine for a few hours.
I'd try testing again in the afternoon one more time and see what happens...

Re: Any OPK experts?
It is time to do some major .
Once you get your you will most likely O in the next 12-36 hours. You don't need to test again after the 1st one. The means that you have a surge in LH it does not represent the actual Oing.
Have fun

Re: Any OPK experts?
See, I am clueless with these things too.
Here's my question (sorry to put it in this post, but I figured it's related!)
Smiley on Tues & Wed. No Smiley today...does that mean that I already o'd? Or, am I o'ing today? (I know the only way to know for sure if you O is by temping, but I didn't...so let's just pretend that I did / will O this cycle...)
Thanks!!!!

Re: UPDATE IN 1ST POST...Any OPK experts?
you probably O'd yesterday or early today.
It take a bit to get the LH hormone out of your system (and into your pee) so by the time there is no smiley you would have already O'd. I just read that on peeonastick.com, LOL
