UPDATE: My Dad is in the Hospital
I don't usually ask for prayers, but my Mom called last night (knew something was wrong, they never call later in the evening) and told me Dad is in the hospital.
He has had the flu and has not been eating or drinking much at all. So yesterday she looked at him in the morning, and didn't like his color or the way he looked at all. They went to the doctor, and he sent my Dad ot the hospital. When he got there they found he was in kidney failure  and also showed signs of cardiac problems. After putting him on the IV for awhile, his kidney tests came back better, though not normal, but his cardiac issues are still there. I'm not even sure I took in exactly what was wrong--baby was crying at the same time, so I wasn't completely following her. They are running more tests and keeping him in the hospital.
I really hope this is all due to dehydration and there isn't more wrong. Also wish they did not live in Florida, I would like to go viist.
UPDATE: Dad is doing better, thank you so much for your prayers! He is still in the hospital and will need to stay until he stabilizes. He is having arythmias, and his heart rate still fluctuates quite a bit with the least exertion, so they want to keep him there a few more days. Most likely he will need to have a follow up procedure done in a few weeks, but his doctors want to wait until he is stronger. They did discover that he has diabetes also,though at this point, it is thought it can be controlled with diet.

Thanks! Not quite a parenting post (though it's about a parent), but I post here more than anywhere else.
I'm waiting to hear from my Mom today about the latest tests. I'm hoping they are good.
