**UPDATE** on 38 week appt
Wish me luck girls. I hope he "strips" me and does not insist on inducing, because I still need @ 2-3 days to get prepared for 
UPDATE~
did not grow much since last week. Dr Asked if I was prepared to possibly go into labor tonite and I replied "no" so he wants to see me again Monday morning. He will strip me then. My concern is that he is still kind of insistant on the induction, so he put me in for induction on Tuesday night so that will be born on Wednesday. He feels that this is the best chance of me delivering vaginally. I still am  about being induced, so I will try all the labor tricks this weekend and with the stripping and full moon on monday lets  that I go into labor on my own. That is my hope right now. Thanks for any good thoughts my way girls!

Why is he insisting on inducing you? Why not let you go into labor on your own? Are you late? Have GD or is there any other reason?

Has he given you a good medical reason for an induction? He can't force you have an induction, especially before your due date. Follow your instincts -- if it feels wrong say no.

I hope you go into labor on your own. My induction went great so if you do have to go that route I pray its the same way for you.

As the other ladies said he should give you a good reason for inducing early. If the heart rate is fine as well as fluid levels tell him to be patient and give you a little longer.

The baby is pretty big - @ 8lbs and he feel it would be best chance to deliver vaginally because is growing very quickly

I give you credit for holding out!! I'm so miserable at this point and my baby too is 8lbs that I would kiss the doctor if he offered to induce me!!! But I totally understand your decision too so hopefully some of the labor tricks will work!! I'll be trying ALL of them too this weekend, maybe we'll both be in labor by Monday!!!!

I hope we are both in labor by monday too!! I feel because part of me feels like an induction is a kind of "cop out" but the other part of me feels like who the heck am I to argue with the doc, he knows best. I am torn
