Update on DS-he passed the hearing test today
For those of you that read and/or commented on my other post we took DS for a more detailed hearing test today and he passed every test!!! He did so well with letting them do everything and he even let them put the headphones on for a bit.
So now I am happy that he passed the hearing tests but of course we are still very concerned about his speech. I called EI today and they said someone will contact us within a week to set up our appointment. In the mean time I have a friend of mine who works with children with special education needs. She is not a speech therapist but she does cover communication in her services. So she is going to come by and observe him to give us some suggestion as to what to do while we are waiting for the EI.
Thank you to everyone who commented and shared stories and to those who offered hugs and thoughts. I really appreciate it. I will update again when I have more information.

They had us do the test too at the time. Just to rule it out.
