Update on me for those of you following my story
First off, thank you for all the support and FMs that I have received.
I finally took the step and I am going in tomorrow morning with my husband to meet with another doc in the practice just to talk to him about the entire situation. I hope that he or my doctor does not get upset with me. It is not that I do not trust my doc, I just want to hear another doctor tell me what he thinks.
Does anyone think I am doing the wrong thing?

I was thinking the same thing. Stand up for your rights as a patient and for your body and your unborn baby. I hope it goes well for you so that you can just relax about the rest of your pregnancy.

I am so happy to read this. I am sorry if I come off so strong on this issue. I never want another women to feel like I did/do. YOU have rights!!!!!
You deserve better than your doctor is treating you. I believe in you!!!

glad that others feel the same way it doesnt hurt to get a second opinion. if your doctor is hurt then he will get over it but if your not comfortable with a situation its there job to make sure you are fine and dont pressure you into doing something your not comfortable with. expecially since women on here have had natural and were under the same situation as u are with the baby size and so on. best of luck to you keep us posted.

You are doing the right thing by seeing a second doctor, but as someone mentioned, keep in mind that by going to someone on the same practice you may encounter a similar approach. Going to someone independent might be worthwhile if you don't get the confidence you need today!

This was my only concern as well hopefully he/she won't tellyou the same thing if he/she does I would go to another practice to get another opinion

I think it's a good idea, but be prepared for this doctor to tell you the same thing because they are both part of the same practice.

You are absolutely doing the right thing. There is no reason why you shouldn't get a second opinion and having worked in a doctors office and in a hospital now, your doc will not be offended, they understand.
