Update on my Biopsy-HPV
So I went to the doctor on Tuesday night. I am SOOOOOO glad that my DH decided he needed to drive me.
(as an aside I had the same thing done a few years ago and it was nothing).
This time was VERY different. Look, its not plesant. I wasnt in pain, but was VERY uncomfortable afterwards. She took 5 samples from my cervix to send out. The WORST part was sticking the gauze up there. Honestly, it was no fun having her poke around, but the gauze was the worst. (think tampon in a dry vajay-jay).
But the good news is she saw a little wart which is what she believes was causing the abnormal pap. And its not genital warts. JUST a wart. We will know for sure when the results come back. But she said she didnt see ANY pre cancer type lesions on my cervix.
Will update with results.
OH! The best news is I said to her "so obviously we shouldnt TTC this month." She said " Nope, you absolutly CAN".
So. Good news all around.
