Update on my date from last night
Okay, so I'm supposed to go on a date tonight with this guy for the second time. You may remember I went out with him last week to dinner and to Dave and Busters...we had a really good time. Any ways, so tonight we are supposed to go out again. He's a NYC fireman so I don't even know what time he's getting home tonight...haven't heard from him yet. I'm sitting here in my lounge clothes looking so not ready...LOL. Last night when I had talked to him and mentioned the weather was going to be bad, he kind of took it like I didn't want to see him...which I then explained wasn't the case, because if the weather was bad, I didn't want him coming home on my account....he lives right up the road from me...but tomorrow he is marching in the parade for St.Patty's Day and then is working. Kind of makes more sense to just stay in the city.....Any ways, being the weather is the way it is, would you still go out? I really like this guy and it's not that I don't want to go out....I just think the weather is pretty darn yucky. What would you guys do in my situation? Thanks for your help!!  
UPDATE: Shortly after I typed this post, he had called me as he was on his way home from the city. He insisted on still taking me out. He was going to pick me up at 8. Needless to say, 8:10 he calls and states he was having a bit of a problem. As he was going over the speed bump in his apartment complex, his axel broke on his van, nuts and bolts flying all over the parking lot. Poor guy, had to push this van over a speed bump and tries to get it into a parking spot. So he ended up picking me up a little after 8. We head over to Friendly's so that he can get dinner and I can get icecream and low and behold his father and sister are also there...unplanned. So this was funny. I met them. Then after food we go back to his apartment. Now when we get here, they didn't plow so there is about a foot of snow in front of the parking area. He has me sit in the car with the flashers on, as he is kicking snow and attempting to shovel with a ice scraper (just picture this....felt so bad for this guy). Definitely can say it was an eventful and adventerous date!!  We ended up talking until about 2 in the morning about every thing and any thing. The best part was, he came home only to hang out with me. He was like "Well figure, I traveled all the way in the blizzard to see you and every moment of hanging out with you was well worth it and I would definitely do this again in a heartbeat." I was blushing....he was so sweet. So we ended the date with him saying that he wants to definitely hang out again this week. I'm sooooo excited. Got that giddy feeling!! Then the poor guy had to drive all the way back into Manhattan because he was in the parade today, carrying one of the flags for the fallen firefighters in 9-11. So I thank you guys for your advice in hanging out with him....definitely was worth it.....and I sure as heck can't wait to see him again

I agree with all of the poster's on here... Go out and have fun on your date But be safe'both of you' at the same time this weather really does stink.
