Update On my Uncle - SPR, please pray....please
not sure if anyone remembers/cares - but my uncle was given 6 months to live (agressive liver cancer) and i asked for prayers...
it went from 0-60 over the weekend and my aunt has told us that he is basically holding on to see his sister (my mother) and our family...(he has not met Emma or my brothers' daughter, Lyla).
i have never in my life needed prayers as much as i do right now. i haven't slept in DAYS and now i'm at work and have lost it 3 times (since this is my first opportunity without Emma since getting this news).
i also have to ask if ANYONE has any 'connections' with someone in the airline industry, PLEASE FM me. We need to get to Cali next week and the prices are really, really painful...
i'm sure i'll be posting about what to do as far as what we need for the flight, etc...

You should check out bing.com/travel. They predict if flight prices are projected to go up or down.

Southwest is running some fantastic web deals to CA- 149.00 each way, if that helps.

Sorry about your uncle.
That is an amazing price. Hopefully it's close to the area that Jess has to go (Even if it's a few hours away maybe it will make sense to rent a car if it's more money to fly into a closer airport!)

the best price i can find is $558.00 for 2 tix, including taxes & fees (we're not getting a ticket for Em - she's a lap infant).
i did check southwest (thank you for the suggestion) - and the price above is jetblue - flying into long beach and when we go back - flying out of los angeles(that lowered the price by 150)....
