update on throwing up 3 hour

I got a call from dr, since we can't get through the test they want to treat me as if I have gestational diabetes just to be safe...

I am not thrilled, but its best to make sure lo is as healthy as can be

Anyone have/had gd and have any tips for me?

you couldnt do the 1 hour over as an option?

There is another test where you fast, go for blood work, eat breakfast, then go back an hour later for more blood work. I can't remember the name of it, but that is what I had to do because I got sick 2 times with the 3 hour test...

not according to my doc, she says if I failed again they would just treat me for gd to be safe... I never want to take the 3 hour again so i'd rather do this...

You may not be familiar with this gestational diabetes glucose test. So what is it? A 2-hour postprandial glucose test - 2-hour PPG - is a gestational diabetes test which is performed 2 hour after a normal meal.

My OB suggested it after I got sick 2 times for the 3 hour...He didn't want to treat me for something I may not have had...
