UPDATE: SHE HAD THE BABY. My SIL's water just broke
I wonder how long until she has the baby. My water never broke. They had to break it at the hospital after being in labor for 2 days. Do you usually have contractions before your water breaks? 
I can't believe I went through labor and I am clueless about this.

UPDATE:
She had Lily this morning at 1:18 this morning (lucky devil was only in labor 4 hours ). The peanut weight 6 lbs. 1 oz.

My water broke first which technically means it should move along nicely because the head is applied directly to the cervix then. Of course, my DD was coming out cheek first so I had a C/S after 10 hours, and she had a black eye.

My water broke and I never had contractions at all. Not even with them trying to induce me.
Soooo 30 hours later, DS was born via C Section.
My cousin had a baby last week. Her water broke and she had the baby about 24 hours later. I don't think she had contractions right away, but, she did have them.

She sure is lucky - my labor lasted 24 hours...thankfully it wasn't too bad!
