OMG...I am crying reading this. I know how hard it is to do what they are doing and how hopeful they have to stay that all will be okay.
I am praying for them and their babies. I can't tell you how much I want to hear the success story out of all of this.
 
My friend's wife is keeping a blog through all of this and I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've sat on my couch bawling my eyes out.
So many people are praying for them and I can't help but think these prayers are doing something. If baby Angel can just hang in there for a couple of more weeks it would be so much better.
I know this is probably going to sound somewhat twisted but I can't help but believe that maybe, just maybe since my friend's grandpa just passed away that maybe, just MAYBE God will let these two precious babies live. That maybe this earth and my friend's family had to just give up one soul to save another.
I hope and pray for them everyday.

Praying so hard for her and the babies!
This happened to me too. My cervix was shut but I had severe bledding and discharge. I lost my baby girl at 24 weeks. I had an infection undetected by tests. Tell them to insist they test for EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope the babies can hang in there a bit longer. There is a DR who specializes in infection. His name is Dr Atilla Toth and he is based in Manhattan-I am certain if someone wrote him a heartfelt e-mail he woukd see what he could do.

Still keeping them in my prayers.
Im shocked at how much like my story her's is.
For me...I started bleeding earlier though at like 10 weeks and it was on and on continually. I had a million sonos and all showed no bleed and a closed cervix.
It was later determined the infection I had was causing my cervix to become irritated and was bleeding from the irritation of being infected.
I also had a normal WBC count and no fever.
FOr me I ended having unstoppable contractions. But I had that infection for a long time.
I would say again, she needs to request a list of which were tested for and in my mind, insist on antibiotics.
Also is she seeing a high risk dr. ? They tend to put info finding things out?

I will mention to them about getting a list and insisting on antibiotics.
They haven't found a specialist out there who is willing to take on her case.
