UPDATED: returned the dress. Big busted ladies - ever put cups in a dress? *updated with pics*
ETA: I returned it - I knew I would never be comfortable. Thanks for the help anyway!
I bought a great Jones NY dress, but its a halter with a split front top (shows a little - ok a LOT of cleavage). I can't wear a regular long line or strapless bra, because the middle bra piece that rests on the breastbone shows (too high).
I need something that separates (my girls are really close together) - I'm not worried about lift, because after my reduction, these puppies are right where they should be.
So if you've ever put cups in a dress - do the ladies stay put in there?
I could technically go braless, but I would absolutely not be comfortable doing that.
THANK YOUUUUU

Re: Big busted ladies - ever put cups in a dress?
my wedding dress has cups sewn in, but its also a corset build in (and the back of the dress is low, so the corset is too)
in my experience, cups alone has done nada!

thank you - but it can't have ANY top straps - the halter neckline is just beads.

Re: Big busted ladies - ever put cups in a dress?
have you tried the fashion forms? They are adhesives that cover and lift a bit. You can actually place them so you can pull the girls apart a little and up. They will also cover nips.
I use them under halters. ..or I go braless..I also had a reduction/lift. It's liberating!

Re: Big busted ladies - ever put cups in a dress?
do you have a pic of the dress? How supportive is the material of the dress? If you had them lifted, why do you really need anything?
I had cups sewn into my wedding gown and it was fine for the entire day.

Re: Big busted ladies - ever put cups in a dress?
x The dress is A-line, ankle length.
see what I mean? Too much cleavage! I feel I need some separation. Ehhhhhhh I don't like these pics - the dress may be going back.

That's the problem. It doesn't lay flat.

But if you are too self conscious, what about stitching it up a little and see if you feel more comfortable?

i think thats a great idea! I would close up a little of the bottom to make the boobie opening smaller.

Try it and let us know how it goes. I had a friend do that with a dress and it looked great.
I know what you mean about finding a good dress. Whenever I buy one I always first think about "what bra will I need for it"

Re: UPDATED: returned the dress. Big busted ladies - ever put cups in a dress? *updated with pics*
Thanks for the help, but I returned the dress. I just wasn't feeling it. But I did find a GREAT Evan Picone (for less $$$!) - also chocolate brown. I'm happy!
