I've been computer-less for almost a week so I just saw this! I will be there with my 2 DDs (ages 4 and 14 months) and DS (age 9). Can't wait!!!

Exactly. I didn't even know one person on Long Island until I went to my first GTG.
I think I am friendly, so look for the fat chick running around after the psycho. I will keep an eye out for you too. In fact, maybe I will randomly ask strangers if they are you until I find you. I am no longer shy.

I'm coming...you all convinced me! As long as DD has a good night. I think she might be too young but it gets me out of the house!

Of course! We are starting out at the playground and then heading to the sprinkler area so we should be easy to find if you come a little later.

A line of storms should be going through there in the hour. They should be brief. Then there should be some time without rain, but not sure if the sun will come out.

Dina, if it rains I will just set up another poll. As of now we are sticking with Kelly who says "no rain" 
I spoke w/ Kelly on the phone. She is stil planning on heading to Tanner, but won't be arriving until @ 11AM. As she is our resident weather babe, I am following her lead, and planning my arrival time for 11AM.

bummer ladies! DD and I had to make a stop first and it was sunny when we left West Babylon. When we got out of the store it was gray and started to sprinkle, we headed home and as soon as we did it started to pour and thunder. Hope some of you didn't get stuck in that!! If the weather gets better this afternoon I'd be up for meeting up around 4 if anyone's around!

We made it. Kelly was right.
It poured for a little while but some of us went to Friendlys for lunch. Then we headed back to the park...it was sunny and beautiful.
Great seeing everyone. Hope those that made it, had a good time too.

Thanks Deb...I think the kids had more fun splashing in the puddles waiting for the sprinklers to go back on. We had the place to ourselves too, which was GREAT!

We will have to plan another one before the summer is out. We couldnt stay too late because AJ was exhausted. He was actually asleep before I exited the park.
