UPDATED WITH BIRTH STORY/ We are back/ more pictures on page 3
I just signed on for a quick hello and to introduce David Adam to you... I am completely exhausted, I think I am going on 4 hours of sleep in the last 3 days so you can understand... I will post more once I get some sleep! all I wanted to say is that all the pain you go through is so worth it at the end... we love him very much... David was 7lbs 15oz when he was born... he is 20.5 inches long...
UPDATE:
So on Sunday I had been going to the bathroom #2 a lot and I told my mom that I thought something might be happening but I wasnt too sure... at 6am I woke up to two gushes of discharge, I wasnt sure that it was water because there wasnt much of it... so I ate some cereal and when I got up I had more stuff come out, so I was pretty sure by then that it was water... I called my doctor's office, my doctor called me back and told me to head to the hospital... one of my doctors was at NYU already inducing someone... anyways, I put my make-up on, finished packing my bag, called some people and at around 7:30am we left for the hospital... I wasnt having any real contractions so I was in good spirits... once we got to the hospital, they had everything ready for us and because of the fact that I wasnt having any major contractions I was put on pitocin at 9am (I was still 2cm and 100% effaced).. I was fine and laughing for about 2 hours, I listened to woman scream in the room next door which was totally freaking me out  at around 11am all of a sudden my contractions were getting so much stronger and closer together, I thought I would climb walls from the pain (but dont let it scare you, I dont handle pain very well)... so I asked for epidural and waited for it like a child at christmas lol getting the epidural was not painful at all and I got a bit of relief right away... and for the next few hours I just kept pressing that epidural button to adjust the amount I was getting until I was finally satisfied...I think about 3-3:30pm I was getting this weird sansation like I needed to poop and it was growing more and more intense... I started to get more and more uncomfortable, I felt like I had to push... at 4pm my doctor checked me and I was 9cm and she left to do a c-section telling me that once she is done we would have the baby... at 4:40pm I yelled at my DH to go and get her because I just couldnt hold any longer and had to have the baby... so my doctor came in and told me that I would be happy that we did it that way because our David was nice and low and we would have him within an hour... so I started pushing whenever I had the urge... I pushed so hard I popped a blood vessel in my eye... I had to have a small episiotomy cause his head would come out a bit and then draw back but I did not feel a thing at the time... at 5:23pm David Adam was born weighing at 7lbs15oz... I had to have few stitches, I dont know exactly how many cause I was busy looking at our little guy...
honestly, the hardest part for me is right now - the recovery... I am very sore "down there"... it is difficult to sit, walk, sleep but I do take some pain medications to get me through the day...
I am breastfeeding and I had no idea how difficult it is, my boobs are so sore and I am pretty sure that I am doing it right... it just seems like my nipples are super sensitive... but hopefully within few days it will get better...
so ladies I am sure I am forgetting something, if you have questions ask away cause after another night of 2 hour sleep I dont think my head is working
