adding my prayers for this!
I had a low grade fever during labor. They said that it **could** mean an infection in the uterus so they are just super watchful of it. Worse case baby needs some antibiotics in the nicu...but they told me it was nothing to worry about. Sadie came out perfectly fine and no meds or nicu were needed.
the same for baby hippo

Whoo hoooooo!! So excited
I had a fever too while i was about to deliver...they stopped everything to get me on antibiotics and had the NICU there too so I couldn't see DS right away. Turns out everything was fine...they just need to take precautions in the event of infection and they monitored him more closely than normal while we were in the hospital.
Anyway, congratulations!!!
