I am so so sorry about this...I just went through this last year with my Copper. We went to Specialists etc...., but chose to go with Steroid Therapy, it did give him a few extra months, somewhat healthy. Whatever you choose I wish you the best, and send many

Thank you all for your hugs and prayers.
We are going to do steroids and painkillers for now. We'll take it one day at a time.
We travelled to LI with her this weekend so our families could see her (hopefully not the last time though  ) She seemed to be happy, she was wagging her little nub a lot at my parent's house, and we all spoiled her a little....
Today she seems very sad and something is going on with her eyes...not sure exactly. We called the specialist and are waiting for him to call back. They are all red and really puffy (bulging sorta).
We met another Rottie owner this weekend who lost his dog to Lymphoma last year at this time. It was good to talk to someone about it.
I'll keep you updated.

I lost my dog to cancer in May of 05 and I still miss her everyday! I'm sorry for what you are going through.

So sorry about this! My dog had very high liver enzymes at one time and is on Denysol and it knocked the levels right back to normal. Most vets know of this. Also, if you aren't already, I would recommend seeing a specialist for your dog, as I do for my dog's heart disease. It is night and day dealing with a specialist than a vet when your animal is seriously ill. There are so many tretments available today. Good luck!!

Thanks everyone.
Buca started Prednisone the other day and is doing soooo much better. She has gotten her appetite back and is so much more active and happy.  Her lymph nodes have gone down soo much already.
I know it's not going to work forever, but right now we are happy that she is responding so well...she is having a good week!

That is great news. Hopefully, you have extended her life and she will live with a good quality of life. Hope it continues
