UPDATE?Question about my "flow" lol....Maybe TMI but I need advice...
The ovulation type cramps are persisting...
except today they were extremely strong?
I am worried now... that its not ovulation, and not pregnancy...but perhaps a new cyst...that decided to poke its way into my uterus?

I am a reg poster on the other boards but trying to keep this aspect of my life private...
So heres the issue....
We stopped using BCP after the honeymoon. I got my AF right away.
Then 27 days later (Sept 5th) I got it again. However, the entire WEEK before I was spotting dark dark brown (Like nutella?) Then it went into a semi normal period and then dark blackish again towards the end, a week later.
Because of this, when would I be ovulating. Usually I can feel ovulation- and know exactly when I have been but, for the last week Ive been getting pains where I usually ovulate, but this time alittle stronger...
We have only BD twice in the last week. Not sure if I can even go by my last periodthough... since i had just gotten off bcp...
Thanks for reading and for anyone who writes back, It will surely make me calmer about this entire situation.

the same thing happened to me my first cycle off bcp.
i even called my ob and was told it's normal to have that when first coming off bcp.
day 1 of your cycle is the first day of red flow-when you have enough that you need a tampon or pad. you don't count the brown stuff or spotting as AF.
the brown stuff is left over from the previous month in the beginning and after AF is over, it's leftovers from that period.
no worries!!! 
the first few months off bcp, BD on days 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19 since your cycle won't be regular for a bit.

it actually sounds like you have already ovulated, if the pains have been going on for a week.
i get very sore on the side where i O'd sometimes, with sharp pains here and there. it lasts throughout the 2WW and, if i am pregnant, even longer.
you're on CD19 today. how long are your cycles normally?
do you check CM or anything else?

Silly question, but what do you mean that you usually feel ovulation pain when you O? Do you mean before you were on BC? Because when you're on it, you're not Oing and therefore wouldn't have O pain - any pain would be for some other reason. I just want to make sure I read your post right.
Since you're at CD19, you MAY have already O'd. Have you had any other signs? Have you had EWCM at all during this cycle?

Yup before i was on it i felt it...every time. I was on BC because of cysts... which the doctor told me are all gone thankfully.
The last week I have had EWCM.

Ive only begun to check CM
My cycles are normally 27 or 28 days.

I dint know what the brown was from. I kind ofthought sometihng was wrong!!

my ob told us to BD on those days.
but since i've been temping and watching my CM, it makes it easier to know when i'm Oing to know when it's best to BD.

Same thing happened to me when I went off of BCP. It took 2 cycles for everything to straighten out. You may or may not ovulate this month, or it may not happen at the usual time. I'd just BD as much as possible. GL and  to you!

If not, then I would say that combined with the fact that you were having pains on and off, would indicate that you probably did O already some time in the last week. Also, since you have a 28-ish day cycle normally, it makes sense that you would O between CD 12 and CD16, but it could be as late as CD18 or so.

EWCM is a good sign because usually (note: this may not apply to ALL women, but the "norm" is) women will start to see EWCM in the days leading up to their O date. Some women never get anything but sticky CM and that's not too great because sperm can't travel in that kind. EWCM is the most fertile kind of CM, the kind that allows the sperm to get to the egg and survive longer - for up to 2-3 or even up to 5 days. Some women get as far as creamy CM (or lotion-y CM) and that can definitely be good enough to get pregnant, but the sperm may not survive AS long as with EWCM, so you may have to BD closer to your actual O date.
ETA: If you still have EWCM, you might still not have O'd yet. A "general" rule of thumb is that you O on the last day you have EWCM or on the day after the last day you have it. This of course can vary by person, but that's a good indicator. Also make sure you are not confusing your DH's sperm with EWCM since they can sometimes look similar. The experts recommend that you expel semen by doing kegels (but not immediately after BD!) so that you can verify if you have actual CM and what kind.

If I am going by the day I got my af, then we bd on 3 of the days you gave me...
the 9, 11, 19 think maybe were good then??
That is of course if i ovulated when i thought i did...
oh lord...this bd calculating thing is going to drive me bonkers!

but the cramping could mean a bunch of stuff. cysts, endometriosis, AF coming... are you doubled over in pain or does it feel like AF?

DH last night goes "TAKE A TEST PLEASE?" and i tried to explain to him we cant just test and he didnt get it...
