Upper abdominal cramping
I am in my 35th week. Last night I was awakened with a sharp pain that started on one side of my upper abdomen (about an inch above my belly button) and slowly spread across my entire stomach. It lasted for about 10 seconds and then a few minutes later repeated. It happened a total of 3 times. I looked it up online and it said something about pre-eclampsia, but I have never been diagnosed with it. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. TIA!!!

Re: Upper abdominal cramping
That's how my doctor describes Braxton Hicks.
Did it hurt, or just feel strange?

It goes fast. Pay attention.

Re: Upper abdominal cramping
Sounds like Braxton-Hicks to me too. Are you drinking enough water? Dehydration can bring them on.

Re: Upper abdominal cramping
It hurt quite a bit. Like really bad period cramps.
I was a little light on the water intake yesterday. I guess I'll watch that in the future.
Thank you ladies!!
