Upset today!!!
My sister in law, DH's brother's wife, called me last night to tell me that her and her dh "Were going to make an announcement Christmas day" She's 3 months preggers  I love her to death..she's been so helpful and supportive of me. She works at a pharmacy so she gets my OPK and HPT tests for me... Im sooo happy for them but it still HURTS!! It was like a knife to the stomach!! I tried my best not to cry when she told me....but after we got off the phone.. I broke down!!!
She wanted to tell me first b/c a. her and I are very close and B. b/c she didn't want it to be a shock on christmas day.
 She tried ONE MONTH!!!!! She's so lucky!! im on my 4th cycle. I have a gyno appt today so im going to have a chat with the dr.

 At over 6 months trying I can't tell you the number of friends that have come out to say they are pregnant. It doesn't get any easier. I cry (privately) every time. It's just because we want it so bad.
It WILL be your turn someday!

You are allowed to feel both happy for her and sad for you. Just know that this coming month could be YOUR month! And just think how over the moon happy she'll be for you. Stay positive! I wish you tons of

it seems when your are TTC everyone else is getting preggo - I'm going through that too. It is natural to hurt but then I get over it and move on with my TTC
here's for 2009!

i think at one time or another... we all have felt this way with a close family member or a friend... its perfectly normal ... my advice is to just try to concentrate on the 2 of you... keep moving forward and dont let it get you down... you just cant!! just know that your time WILL come! and when that time comes... it will be just as special!!

I like that she called you and gave you a heads up. that was very considerate.
She got lucky and hit it on the first try.
Hang in there. I know it's tough.
3 babies have been born around me since I've been TTC. It sucks!

Awww, i'm sorry. I know exactly how you feel. It hurts to hear about anyone being PG these days, but someone close is that much harder. She was very thoughtful of you though. My SIL told me her sister was PG within a week of me telling her I just had a MC and the sisters due date was the exact date as mine and she knew it. She never once considered telling me alone or waiting to tell me. My IL's didn't know I was even PG so I had to keep myself from breaking down. That was a huge blow to me.
Try to stay positive, it will happen for you....it will!

I am sorry you are upset. I know you are happy for them and want the same for yourself.
I have to say I think it was really nice of her to tell you ahead of time. At least you have time to sit with it and get over the initial "sting" so that on Christmas you can be happy with everyone (or at least not shocked and a little upset-it's only natural to be so when you are trying too).

Yeah she's really awesome. Im so glad she told me before hand. Although I know I'll still cry on Christmas but I'll pass it off as happy tears for her!!

I absolutely know how you feel.....BTDT. Hang in there, it will happen for you. I agree that it was really nice of her to let you know ahead of time instead of throwing it at you in front of everyone else. And just think, you're going to get a new niece or nephew which is always fun!
Lots of for you!!! 2009 is going to be a good year, I can just feel it!!!!

i know EXACTLY how you feel cause the same thing happened to me last night! SIL announced that she was pregnant and i just felt my heart sink. i got all red and flushed from surprise! dont get me wrong, i'm overjoyed for them but at the same time it felt like someone took the wind out of me. i was trying so hard not to cry and DH could see it on my face. as soon as we got in the car he was asking me if i was okay and i was still trying hard to fight back the tears. its just a $ucky feeling.
but here's baby dust for all of us!
