URGENT EXCEL QUESTION
Ok, how do I do 65% of a cell? Like if the cell has $100, how to represent 65% of that in another cell? I've been trying everything.
Thanks

Re: URGENT EXCEL QUESTION
I always use the "help" in excel when I can't remember how to do a formula. Type in percentage formula or something like that and it should come up how to do it. HTH!

yep, or multiply the original cell by 0.65
=[original cell]*.65

i know you responded already that you did it manually, but this is what i was going to suggest. whenever i do % in excel, i always multiply the number by the decimal. so much easier. just wanted to add this so you know for the future.
