URGENT!! Red hair - do you have it? REAL RED!!

First -if you have it, how do you keep it this color, or... does it not stay and don't recommend.

i am going today at 3:30 to do something like this and need input, should you have any!!

no idea...but thats hot!

i had red hair in my twenties and my mom is still mad at me cause i ruined the grout in her shower. lol the red always ran into the grout.

LOL!! I have some in the grout on the tiles of my bathroom floor! but it's like black. it looks like a doody stain in front of my sink!

I have red RED hair and it's sooo hard to keep the color vibrant. I have tried every product imaginable and nothing really works. I try not to wash it every day like I did as a blonde and use dry shampoo in between washes. I love the pic you posted!

The only way to keep it vibrant is to use a semi- permanent rinse when it starts to fade. It's messy & can stain when your hair is wet but the color is really nice. Otherwise it will just turn brassy & orange-y

I used to use Adore by Creative Images in Crimson but you can find others at beauty supply stores

ETA: Even if you only have highlights, you can still use it on your whole head if you have dark hair. it shouldn't show up on the dark color

had highlights that color red about 12 years ago... it doesn't last but it looks awesome the first few weeks!

My hair is pretty red. Unfortunately, it's always short lived. I specifically get a color red that I looks good even when it's a little faded.

My colorist has recommended that I use this stuff and it has helped a little, but it's expensive.

I had something like that done and in like 3 weeks it turned ORANGE! so hard to keep up, had to wash with special color depositing shampoos. It was a nightmare. Never again

it takes a few times to get the rid to stick so to speak. also depends if you had to bleach out pre existing colors

i ama red headh and it will stick but need to be refreshed once a month

It oxidizes quickly (I had almost every shade of red at one point), but the harder part is getting rid of the red. It took YEARS and basically my hair growing it out to get rid of it. It just always came through any color I did over it.
