Urgh! I went to book the Christening and the price has more than doubled from when I had Juliette's there!
Does anyone know a lodge, VFW, Hall or American Legion where I can have an open bar and bring my own food?
I need it in Lynbrook, Malverne, Baldwin, Oceanside, LB, Island Park, Hewlett, Woodmere, RVC, West Hempstead, VS, Lawrence or Cedarhurst areas.
I used the ELk's Lodge in Lynbrook and I was so happy because I had an open bar and I could have it catered from where ever I wanted it from. So now I call, and they now only allow THEIR caterer, and the prices start at $32/head plus tax/gratuity! That's a huge difference from what I had estimated it would cost me!

What about the nights of columbus hall in Oceanside...I think its on Atlantic Avenue right before the mcdonalds. What about the VFW in ER on Main street. I think their is another one that is bigger than the Er one and its inoceanside on Lawson i think.

oceanside wants 37 a head but thats including tax and gratuity still pricey for a buffet

If you're not set on bringing your own food....Cork N Board in Malverne does a very nice party and a great price!!

VFW in Williston Park has a bar w/bartender and you can bring in your own food. We've had parties there but my dad's a member. I don't think that matters though. It can't hurt to call. HTH

Actually was I was considering Cork and Board! The price is great for beer, wine and soda! But how many people does it hold?

I'm not sure how many people it holds, my baby shower was there and it was really nice, give them a call and see, can't hurt

We are using a Sons of Italy Hall in Oceanside on Long Beach Road - we didn't even know that it existed until my brother found it and used it for his engagement party. Its $550 for the room, $9 per person for beer, wine and soda and $13 a person for total open bar. You must bring your own food. FM me if you want the number but it should be in the phone book.

I just checked Cork N Board, the max for a party is 80 so it would be a bit cramped...

We've used Oceanside KofC, but there is also a VFW in Oceanside on Lawson that is priced much cheaper than the KofC just not as attractive of a place.

I keep trying the American Legion on Malverne and I never get an answer! I will try there and also the Son's of Italy tomorrow. Thank you!
