UTI in cats
I think my cat has a UTI from what I have been reading online. She has an appointment at the vet tomorrow morning but I was wondering if anyone else have ever dealt with this? For the past 2 months or so, everywhere she sits there is a yellow spot about the size of a quarter. It's on my couches and my bed, it's gross. I thought that maybe she was just tinkling a bit or not cleaning herself too well after going to the bathroom so I was more annoyed than concerned but as of this week the spots are getting bigger and they are now have a pinkish tinge to them. So now I feel guilty for not taking her in sooner.

Re: UTI in cats
I'm no cat expert since I haven't had one since I was 16, but cats are prone to UTI and kidney infections. But you're taking her to the vet, so hopefully you'll have answers soon!

Re: UTI in cats
my cat had a UTI when I brought him back from the vet. It was HORRIBLE.. he would run to the bathroom every 10 mins.. and thankfully, I caught it right away. I could tell he was in pain, and I pretty much rushed him to the hospital.
They extracted the urine from him, gave him an shot and he was fine after that.. UTI in cats can be pretty bad, and lead to kidney infections.. it cost me a pretty penny and but he's ok, and that's all that mattered.
