UTI in toddler girls

Is this possible? I havent googled it or anything yet, but here's my problem:

Kaila had to go peepee non stop today. Sometimes she went a good amount, other times it was just a little trickle. She also said she had to go a few times and then just changed her mind, making me think that she felt like she had to but then the feeling went away.

Is it possible for a 2 and a half year old to have a UTI? She hasnt complained about pain or burning, but she does have a little rash (which is odd because she wears underwear and a pullup at night that stays dry) Chat Icon

Thanks.. Chat Icon

Julia had one at 2 1/2, she would complain her vagina hurt and would grap at it a lot, she also couldn't stop going pee pee, she would also want me to take her diaper off a lot which led to her going on the potty and not going back to diapers. She did end up having a UTI.

It's completely possible. Infants can get them too. You may have something brewing.Chat Icon

ITA. DD had one the week before her first b-day Chat Icon With us it was easier to spot-- she had a really high, unexplained fever, and when we walked into her room in the middle of the night, the stench was horrible-- her urine had a horrible odor, which is a UTI red flag.

Good luck Chat Icon
