Vacuum cleaners and pets...
What do your pets do?
I have two cats and one doesn't care about it. The other freaks out, it is so funny. Even when it is off and you put the head without it being turned on he hisses. I know it is mean, but I think it is so funny. This is the sweetest cat, a little afraid of strangers, but he turns into a different cat when that vacuum comes out...
What about your pets?

Our cat runs out the room. She looks so freaked out.
Our dog runs too, but he doesn't seem as scared as the cat.

She sits in the middle of the floor and waits for me to almost run her over b4 she moves.. its funny she is so afraid of noises and thunder ect... but not the vacuum???

Both of my cats are terrified. One will hide under the covers on the bed, the other will hide behind different pieces of furniture, wait until my back is turned, and run out of the room.

My dog runs after it and tries to bite it. That is the only thing he bites other than food!

All I have to do is bring it our of the closet and it gets her barking.
Once I turn it on and start using she goes NUTS trying to attack it.

our dog is terrified like we beat her with the vac EVERY single day. we have never even gone near her with it -- so, i thought maybe it was the noise? well, i don't think so because she has the same reaction w/ the SWIFFER.

I use a ROOMBA during the week and at first she would just bark VICIOUSLY, especially if it headed toward her. Eventually I started putting little treats on it while it was running and now they're good buddies  She HATES the canister vac tho

Daisy won't go near it. She usually sits next to me on the couch when my husband is vacuuming.
When she sees it come out of the closet, she runs the other way!

Our cat doesn't mind it but don't get me started about the dog. She has a barking match with it. I have to wait until DH is home in order to vacuum. I can't even open the closet where I keep it because she will go off on it.
My old dog was never like this she would bark a few times then go find a place to hide until i was done.

Ramsey LOVES the vacuum cleaner. He follows me all around when I am vacuuming. When I vacuum the couches he jumps on the couch and gets as close as he can to it, I have to push him off. He also loves when I blow the hair dryer in his face. He is a strange one, that cat.
The other two usually run away when the vacuum goes on.

Shelby and Arnold freak out! Arnold runs for the hills - literally! He goes upstairs to our bedroom and hides on our bed under the covers.
Shelby on the other hand is clearly apprehensive but she meets the challenge head on. She stays in the room but does like a tango with it. She comes near it when I back it up and then runs out of the room when I come back towards her.
It's pretty funny.

My dog runs away from it...then tries to attack it! She put bites the aluminum hose all the time-I cant wait for her to put holes in it so I can get a new vacuum
