Vacuum for wood floors?
I want to get a vacuum that will work well on wood floors and area rugs. Any recommendations?

The Shark is great...I use it on my rugs and my tile in the kitchen. My mother uses it for her wood floors. You can get it at Linens N Things or Bed Bath and Beyond.

I use the Hoover wet/dry vac.... It's awesome. It comes with old english solution... which is great for wood floors. You should see the ammount of dirt that comes up.

have a Kenmore..love it.
I have hardwoods, laminate, tile and carpet..works great on all. I only have carpet in two rooms.
