Valentines day ideas
Anyone have any good ideas or traditions for Valentines Day with the kids? Im already planning on making heart pancakes for breakfast but I would love to do some more cute things with them.

Re: Valentines day ideas
that's so cute!
Loey is so little so I haven't really thought of many things to do with him yet.
I was thinking when he gets older we can make cut out heart cookies and decorate them with different icings and sprinkles.
And also when he's older, making our own pasta and doing a heart shaped ravioli for dinner?
I also will want to make a card with him for Daddy and his grandparents and maybe make brownies or cupcakes to give to them.

Hey speaking of... just saw heart shaped ravioli at Costco yesterday. The package had red and white pasta four cheese hearts. Did not get them but they made me smile.
This will be DS' 2nd Valentine's Day so I do not have much to add. Last year I took some cute pics of him with a velvet heart candy box and then photoshopped in words on the heart to make cute Valentines.
I also made a little Valentine heart with a doily, glitter and his pic to put out each year. I'll mostly do one this year and see how long it can go. I do decorate for Valentine's Day so I'll put them up around the house each year.
And someone had mentioned that she got pics of her and her DS each Valentine's Day done at Sears or Target photo studio as a cute tradition. Have not done it but sounds cute.
This year, we'll be in VT so we'll all go out to dinner but I'm sure I'll make pink heart shaped pancakes for breakfast!
