Re: VBAC Friendly Doctors
I haven't had a VBAC yet. But I delivered by c/section with Dr Plancher in Garden City and we already discussed vbac with the next. He's great and he delivers at winthrop. Good luck

Re: VBAC Friendly Doctors
Thank you! I'm hoping for a VBAC, although my next pregnancy will not happen for over a year, I want to start building a relationship with a new doc.

Re: VBAC Friendly Doctors
BUMP
Looking for recommendations as well -
My doctor's response to my question regarding VBAC at 2 week visit after giving birth "why would you want to go through that" "I highly doubt that you can have a vaginal birth since you failed to open more than 7cm"
I stopped dilating after epidural - which was given after 24 hours of labor.
So if anyone can recommend their doctor that they love and are open to allow me to try - please do.
Winthrop Hosp
Thank you

Is this in Manhassett? Is your doctor's office close to the hospital? I think I'm about 15 minutes away from work - Old Country Road, Carle Place and about 25 minutes away from home (East Meadow). I would go that far for an excellent doctor.

His name is Dr. Trongone and he's in manhasset on Northern Blvd, very close to NSUH. IDK your feelings on this but he does not do sonos very often and you have to go to the hospital for a sono. He does an internal in his office and the rest are done at the hospital.

thank you for the info - I would like a doctor that does sono in the office. But I will keep info since he's recommended and I rather go with a recommendation.

I'd like to know too - if anyone knows of any doctors in Suffolk (besides the Stony Brook midwives).
