Vegetable/Fruit Combos ?

This is more if you make your own baby food, but do you mix a fruit and vegetable together or do you use 2x bowls and 2x spoons each time? Just wondering bc if I'm traveling in the afternoon that means I need 4 bowls of food, 4 spoons and 2 bottles for just "lunch" and "dinner". Just wondering if you mix?

Re: Vegetable/Fruit Combos ?

I'm not sure why you use 2 bowls and 2 spoons? I make all of DD's food and always either mix together the fruit and veg or I use the bowl that has the seperater in the middle. I've never used 2 spoons unless DD is grabbyChat Icon then I give her one spoon to chew & play with while I feed. Does that help/ answer your questions?External Image

Re: Vegetable/Fruit Combos ?

I don't usually feed both a veggie and a fruit. Instead I make combos and freeze them that way. Acorn squash baked with apple is yummy. Sweet potatos with peach are good too but add more sweet pot as the peach can make it sweet.

I have the bowl a previous poster mentioned and while I love it, DS has just about outgrown it as it doesn't hold too much in each side. He's 8 months.

Thank you! I was just wondering. I just didnt see any fruit tasting good with spinach, peas, or green beans. Maybe with those I will just add carrots, squash and sweet potatoes.

You can mix spinach with pears and peas. I've seen that as a plum organics mixture Chat Icon
