Venting!
Today, at busing, one of the buses was 2 minutes late, so we were waiting with the kids in line to help them onto the bus (I teach D75, so some students need to have their hands held, etc) and a teacher I work with said "It's 2:50! Who is going to take this child, because I am leaving!" I was like seriously? She wouldn't stay 2 minutes to put the kid on the bus...and because contractually, she can leave then, no one can do anything about it. THEN...I see her chit chatting with the security guard on my way out. She didn't even have to rush off anywhere, she was just being a jerk, because she can.

Not cool.
What if it were her child? She'd probably be the first to rip into the teacher for leaving.
And now as a parent, I fear such a thing happening to my own kids.

I know the feeling well. You would not believe how many people act like total animals trying to sign out first.
