Vericose Veins
I always had a few Spider Veins but yesterday I looked at the backs of my legs and I have a lot of vericose veins! The whole idea of them creeps me out- I imagine they will get worse when I get preg.
Anybody else have this problem

Re: Vericose Veins
I have the same thing, not only on the backs of my legs either, they are on the sides of my knees also. They have gotten much worse in the last few years, when I'm done having kids I plan to get them checked to see if there is anything I can do about them

Re: Vericose Veins
Yes I know what you mean, I already have awful spider veins on my upper thighs The veins in my lower legs are often painful (I wear compression knee high stockings at home & at work under my pants to help) & as my mother has terrible vericose veins I will probably develop them too later on (I am in my 20s still). I'm also trying to exercise a lot & keep my legs elevated when I'm relaxing, because I've heard this is supposed to help.

Re: Vericose Veins
they totally get worse when you're pregnant! also, all the standing you do at work doesn't help either. thankfully, mine are not painful yet... but if they're bad enoguh, they do start to get painful. i went to a vascular doctor and he gave me those compression stockings to wear... i should be wearing them, but they're so tight! i am going to go back to him though because they really did get worse after the pregnancy and i just need to suck it up and wear the stockings sometimes!
