There are a TON of companies you can get a discount with.
I work for Health insurance and I get a 19% monthly Verizon discount.

I was just going to put that too, its a fair amount too but it takes about 3 months to kick in.
ETA: It's that same 19% that was mentioned

Found out that my DH who works for ConEd gets a 17% discount off of monthly service & accessories.

I think it's just off your wireless not a triple play or other home package. I started with 15% now it's 19% and it kicked in for the next bill cycle, not 3mos

There is definitely no educators discount available for verizon land lines. vz wireless gives many more discounts that verizon does

Those who do have the triple play,,do you know how many channels you get if you do not have a box connected to 1 of the tv's? I Will connect 2 tv's but my spare room, i was not going to bother with. So someone told me she does not have a box in her daughters room, but she was not sure what kind of channels she gets on that tv.
