Vertigo?

Does anyone suffer from vertigo? I've had it for quite a few years, and it seems to come and go. The past two years, I've had a reoccurence in Sept./Oct. and the past few nights laying in bed, I'm feeling dizzy Chat Icon Is it normal for it to come back the same time every year?

My brother gets it REALLY Bad!

He can hardly get out of bed when he has it. He also starts vomiting since his equilbrium is off. It's terrible!Chat Icon

I'm not sure if it's normal to come back ever yr at the same time. But anything is possible. Something is triggering it off.

Re: Vertigo?

I have gone to the ENT doctor and he can give me some type of massage therapy when it comes back. It is one of the most horrible things - I can't even describe how awful I feel when it's in full effect. I'm just hoping it doesn't get worse because then I can't move from bed ;-(

Re: Vertigo?

I get vertigo too, especially w/ sinus infections. If it's coming at the same time of the year, it could start as allergies and progress. If you get excess fluids, especially in your ear, that can cause vertigo.

ETA: I agree w/ the others, get to an ENT as soon as possible.
