Very casual wedding with an interesting theme
Received my cousin's wedding invite in the mail.
Theme was about tying the knot (which unfortunately was spelled wrong, but she was never a good speller  )
Wedding is in Georgia in the beginning of April.
Attire is "Western or Casual"
WHAT DOES ONE WEAR to a western/caual wedding?
Also any ideas for a 4 year old girl & 6 year old boy?
I really DON'T want to dress them as cowboy/cowgirl attire.
eta. Keeping in mind that my son would definitely prefer to wear a suit & my daughter lives to wear party dresses.

for your son... maybe casual tan chino type pants and a plaid button down.. with brown shoes?

Me too. A nice subtle floral dress in light pink, yellow or blue. 
I'd put Joseph in a blue shirt with chinos and brown shoes.

i would dress your son in a pair of chinos and a button down plaid shirt with a lasso tie
and your daughter in a long flowy skirt and a button down shirt with cowboy boots! lol

western attire would be for your hubbie/son-jeans and a button down and for you and your DD a nice skirt with boots or a dress with boots.

Me too.
I think Mssissy (spelling?) posted pics of her granddaughter (?) wearing that for her daughter's wedding- i thought it was the cutest thing ever!!!

If you don't want to dress them western style or buy boots just for this one occasion, don't, but they might be overdressed in a suit and party dress. If the kids don't care and you don't mind, go for it. Otherwise I'd take it down a notch and put them in khakis or nice jeans, a skirt for DD, and a button down or polo shirt.
