Vet Recommendation Needed - Update: Thank you!
I initially thought we would use the vet my parents use, but they said for how far it is from us, it doesn't make sense, since they don't have a problem with them, but they don't love them either.
Does anyone (particularly dog owners) LOVE their vet in the Smithtown/Kings Park/East Northport/Northport area?
Since we have only had Amber a few days I am hyper analyzing everything and feel like I need to take her for a full checkup myself - right now it is too hard to tell whether or not her behaviors are "normal."
Thanks in advance!
UPDATE: Amber went to Towne Line Veterinary Group yesterday, thanks to the recommendations on here. While I got stuck at work and couldn't go my husband took her and he was VERY happy with them. She saw Dr. Gurtman who also told my husband I can email him any time with questions (not to google!).
Thank you so much for the recommendation!
Best of all, Amber is in "pristine" health! And he thinks that she probably had puppies!! Her nipples are enlarged and based on the shape of her abdomen he said it is likely that's why. We were told it was because she was spayed while she was in heat (she was spayed just 6 weeks ago at the shelter she was turned into).
Crazy to think that my silly "puppy" was actually a mommy! It's a bit strange not knowing what her first 2.5 years of life were like, but getting a great report from the vet makes me feel so much better!
Thank you again for the recommendation!

Re: Vet Recommendation Needed
This is a brand new practice http://townelineveterinarygroup.com/
The 2 vets were at Commack Animal Hospital for several years. Dr. Kothari is awesome! She's knowledgeable, kind, caring. We haven't been to the new office, but used Dr. Kothari for years. I'm not sure about the new office and how efficient it is with appointments, wait time, etc.

Thanks so much! Did you use them for dogs or cats (or both)?
