Vets post- the end in sight
So I havent been posting much, because its just so hard to say the same things over and over with the same outcomes, and get idealistic optimism from newer people in return when you have experienced all the awful realistic outcomes time and time again.
But Lisa has inspired me to share things from this side.
I have taken my last injection, my last trigger.
Today I had my very last ER. After 4 years, many failed IUIs and 5 failed IVF cycles, DH and I decided this will be the last.
As I sat waiting for the sono, I looked around and thought unless I get that BFP this will be my last time in this room. And when my doctor left and said good luck, I cried, and thanked him for all he has tried and done for us. I really hope to be able to come back with that BFP and really thank him.
The anasthesiologist was lovely, shared that we have the same birthday and sent me to the Barbados with her lovely drugs. I felt schlogged afterwards, but that was my last IVF anasthesia.
So now I pray that that my last fert report tomorrow will be a good one.
I am trying to be hopeful this cycle, and not because someone told me too, or because someone said I should stop being negative and think positive. But because I want this all to come to an end sooner rather than later. For me this will end with a baby, and not because its Gods will and in the words of our recent fakie Kech, I can will it to be true. But because if this doesnt work we will move on to the next chapter in our life.
So for the last time, I am asking for
