Video camera-Do you tape DC growing up?

We have to admit, we have been so bad....we dont video tape DD as often as we should.

The other nite, she was cooing like crazy so finally DH got the video out.

Im like, she is almost 3 months old and this is all we have of her
oh and the hospital which I watched and cried.

Iso should esp since they grow up so fast!

I guess thank gosh for cameras.

Dont feel bad I just bought one of those new HD camcorders and DS is now 9mths. I feel like I missed all his milestones and him growing from day 1!

I try and tape him once a month. But it is hard. I am soo obsessed with the still camera.

I did remember to bring it to the Zoo thank goodness.

I video tape him all the time. He is just too cute and I want to remember. We just went back and watched from his first bath and I was almost crying. And it's only been 8 months

I didn't have a video camera when DS was a baby, but now I do, so I'm a little obsessive. She was born on a Monday and Every Monday I tape her and say how many weeks she is. It will probably be the most boring thing to watch until she starts doing "exciting" things, but it's nice to have

I film DS occasionally with my digital camera but I take more pictures than anything.

We just bought one and DD's 8 months old. I do wish we had gotten it sooner, but we've been making up for lost time and videoing her lots.

DS is just 1 month, we taped him a few times: his first bath, playing with his grandma (the hospital didnt allow cameras)

We have one but hardly use it, I have to start again, we take tons of pics though.

We tape all the firsts. And whenever he's doing something particularly cute.

We never use the video camera, but always use the video on the digital camera. I usually tape about 2 minutes at a time, throw them on a dvd and mail it out to the fam.

Best videos are in the tub. Sometimes in the morning I will greet him with it on...I love his face when he sees me rescue him from the crib.

I also taped my belly moving while preggo

The following things I have taped so far

Her doing "hammer time" as in MC hammer's dance (Dh would do this with her when she was smaller, so cute)

Her in her jumper

Her christening

Her in the hospital

That is it, I think

eta: Dh taped her rolling over, but that was taped on our digital camera

I have taped him since birth... I do it at least 3-4 times a month. I just went back and watched the dvd from the beginning and cried. I cant believe how big he is and am so glad I captured it.

I've been keeping it out and taping whenever I remember. I also use my digital camera to take videos.

When I remember too. It's usually DH reminding me to get it out.

I do take it out on occassion & do interviews with them...like how does the Easter Bunny get the chocolate to the house? Questions about Santa, etc.

Nope. No video of either of my kids. We don't own one. We take ots of pics though.

we bought ours when DD was about 3 mths because I didnt want to miss all of the big milestones....I have to say, weve only used it about 8 times and DD is 13 mths old!I dont know why....I just always go to grab the regular camera. I have to try to get into the habit of videoing more.

I haven't since Christmas I prefer pictures because I hate being on video, but I guess if I'm the one recording it doesn't matter. I need to start.

DH thinks he is a Coppola or something so we have lots of video. If it were strictly my job to do, there'd probably be only photos
