Video Monitor Question...

I registered today & noticed some of the video monitors have these LCD TV sets - but it costs over $200.

Are they worth it? Or is the day & night monitor with the smaller screen okay?

Re: Video Monitor Question...

You totally DON"T need the big screen - honestly it is much easier to have just the little one b.c you can turn it off when you sleep. The screens are bright so I leave the sound on but push the button so the screen is blank - if I hear a noise or want to check on her I can just push the button and her crib pops up. I would think the big screen would keep me up at night b.c it would be like having a huge night light on. I guess though if you wanted to have it across the room or in another room like a den for when you are awake that might be another story.

The regular hand held is great. I don't think you need to go beyond that.

I have the smaller one for my son and it's really all I need. I wouldn't spend the extra money.

I can't imagine needing a big screen. I love my little portable summer one - it goes everywhere in the house with me easily!

The Summer Handheld is amazing but get the blue one (not the white one) it's like $10 more but the screen is much bigger!

Re: Video Monitor Question...

Hey Kelly,
I ended up registering for the same video monitor and a regular one. Nick actually was going to put a camera in his room since he works for ADT now, but we decided to just get that one. We have a lot of the same stuff on my registery also.
