Video Rave....

So, someone on here recommended to me Baby Babble. I bought them awhile ago, and now just took them out, and both my boys LOVE them. Christopher is glued to the tv, and will bring the dvd to me to pley, and he is imitating some of the signs, words, and sounds.

Re: Video Rave....

My mom bought my son a set called Baby Bumblebee. It has to be from the early 90's and it is kind of cheesy but my son LOVES every single one of those DVD's (we have about 14 of them) plus the flashcards and he's learned SO much in terms of words to label as well as action words, letters, numbers, etc.

I think these type of videos are very helpful because they seem to appeal to him and keep his attention! And he learns stuff!

Re: Video Rave....

My DS loves this one too.

The funny thing is he even likes to watch the intro and the part afterwards, where the therapists are talking and instructing parents. I think he likes watching the signs.

we have BabyBumbleBee DVDs too, and since DS has started to watch them, he went from 5 words to about 60 in about 2 months

yeah, we had a very rapid increase and words too. It was amazing! But aren't they so funny to watch in terms of being a little outdated? I find myself mocking them in my head as he watches them Chat Icon
