Visiting policy at Stony Brook?
We have a friend that will be in L&D for the remainder of her pregnancy (she's 34w2d now)
Could I bring James up to see her or is there still a "no child" visiting policy in place?
I'm just thinking that I'll have to arrange to have my parents watch him next week when I want to go see her (DH will be away)

I don't think kids under 18 are allowed in there ! I would give a quick call ,so you don't waste money and a trip !

Re: Visiting policy at Stony Brook?
My FIL is at Stony Brook right now. They have been letting my DS up to see him, but he is on the cancer floor.
There are signs everywhere saying no children under 18 allowed, and the security has been enforcing it. I would say they probably won't let DC on that floor.

Nina wasn't allowed through the doors of the Mother and Infant wing but she was allowed outside the doors in the little waiting area, I was allowed to go out there to see her but that was it.
