I'm looking for Ob/Gyn's in Stony Brook, St. Charles or Mather
I am looking for a new ob/gyn, I'm hoping someone in those areas. Are there any favorites??

I got to Suffolk OBGYN in Port Jefferson (right near Mather etc) I go to Dr.Lograno there but there are several other doctors that work there. I've heard good things about Giammarino as well. Any questions feel free to FM me.\

I go to University Associates in OB/GYN. My doctor is only affiliated with Stonybrook University. I really like the doctor I see and the practice is great. They have everything you need there expect for bloodwork. FM if you want the number.

I use the Stony Brook Midwives. They are good if you are low risk and they have access and often consult the docs at University associates. You can easily switch to one of the Docs if it gets complicated. The docs at SB are all very good too.

I can not say enough wonderful things about her and her office

They are affiliated with StonyBrook.

Stony Brook Ob/Gyn is probably the closest location wise to me..it great to know you both really like them there. I will have to give them a call. I heard they are high risk which is good as well.

I use the same group of midwives and for my last pregnancy, they were wonderful.

I just started to go to his partner, Dr Blyzack. He was covering for my OB when Hayley was born so I decided to switch to him. Dr Arato came to check on me while I was in the hospital, my own OB didn't even check me.

I love my OB/Gyn--Dr. Dreux Patton--he is in Port Jefferson right near St. Charles.
Dr. Arato saw me at St. Charles when I checked out and he was very nice.

Three Village Women's Health is a great practice. I love all the MDs there (they are located in Setuaket, near Wild by Nature)

Thanks girls!! You are all so helpful!! With so many nice things said about each doctor, I'll have a hard time deciding!!
Kathy116.. I heard that group is really great!! I believe that is Dr. Davenport's group.
Has anyone used Dr. David Baker with Stony Brook?
I think I may go with either Dr. O'Keefe's group or Dr. Arato/Blaszczyk's group, since they sound so nice and location wise they are the closest to me.

i second three village....when i graduated from my fertility clinic, i asked for a recommendation and was told that this group is where all the doctors and doctor's wives go.

They were total strangers to me but both made me feel so at ease. I had never seen Dr Blazcak before but he walked into my room, explained my situation and both me and DH were very comfortable with him to do my emergency c-section. He called me the next day to see how I was and he even called the NICU to check on Hayley. Dr Arato came and checked me out 2 times while I was there. My OB at the time never even came to check me.
I think you will like them!
