vitamins- Womens One-A-Day and how much calcium do you take?
Has anyone taken these or any other "meant for women" supplements?
I have previously used Centrum regular multivitamin but the Womens One-A-Day says it's good for reproductive health and it has a lot more calcium (osteoporosis runs in my family)
Let me sum this up to 2 questions, actually..
1- Have any of you taken Women's One-A-Day or something similar?
And
2- How much calcium do you take, daily?
ETD- Just wanted to add, I am not taking prentals yet since we have not started TTC yet but have a general idea of when to start- Plan to do the prenatals 3 months before really starting TTC.

I never took the One a Day-I went straight to prenatals about 6 mos prior to TTC. But it is great that you are on a vitamin regimen.
I take 600mg of calcium twice a day, but that is going to be majorly increased. I am a long term prednisone user and that stuff depletes the body of calcium. Hopefully I can get off that cr@p soon!

I take the centrum woman- one a day pills but thats pretty much it. My doctor told me I dont have to go on prenatals just get folic acid or any vitamins that have folic acid in them and i did just that....

I've been told by a few people that one a day's are loaded with chemicals and not really good for you.
I started using Shaklee brand basic Multi vitamin set and they were pretty good! I have epstein barr and it helped me with the fatigue issues.
I would go to a GNC or health food store and find a multi vitamin there. they tend to be better than one a days.
Right now i switched to Rainbow light prenatals.
I have to add a calcium supplement though.
