I was just coming here to ask the same thing! He's completely delusional. I don't understand why he thinks he's so amazing.  And who were the brain dead people cheering for him?
eta- Did he also basically say that he's one of the 10 most talented artists to ever live?

Yessss! My exact thoughts! I want to smack his smug, delusional self. And I hate how Kim looks at him like he's this effing genius or god he believes he is. And Beyonce. I just can't with her. People are going bat sh!t over her extremely looooooong performance. She just irks me so badly! I mean, I know she's talented and a sh!t ton of work goes into a performance like that but i just cannot stomach her, her ugly husband or her insane bey hive. So over her. Ok rant over

I also don't know what MTV was thinking putting Britney on right after Beyonce's 1/2 hr. performance. Made hers look so blah in comparison as far as theatrics.

My notes:
Alicia Keys - FLAWLESS!!! No makeup and she looks beautiful. her speech/poem/song had me clapping in bed while watching!
Kayne - Who thought it was a good idea to give him a mic? I was waiting for Kim to start bowing before him. And that video? I literally got nauseous during it and had to fast forward.
Bey - I LOVE Bey...old Bey though. That was not "music", that was her reading a book or singing while she spoke. I HATED everything about it.
Rhianna - I'm not a fan - and I know I'm in the minority when I say that. For some reason she always annoyed me. Her first and third performance, I was not a fan. The second with EVEYRONE on stage, looking like a giant party - I LOVED. Drake's speech to her made me swoon (LOVE HIM).
Britney - I waited ALL NIGHT for her and was GREATLY disappointed with her performance. I hope LL never invites her to Lip Sync Battle because it was just BAD!!! All I saw was her swinging her hair around - which I JUST saw Bey do.
It was just BAD!!! But I know I'll watch again next year, I always have such high hopes!

I just don't get it.
I know that I'll never like pop music. or rap. or country.
But that being said -
There are songs that I can understand how they are popular and that people that like that type of music would love it.
That Beyoncé was just odd. As someone said it was spoken word over some weird backing track.
Call me old fashioned but I'd like at least 1 instrument. I'm not asking for a full band, but at least one instrument.

I lovedddddd Beyonce's performance, but I'm a fan of hers and especially this last album.
Kanye- OMG. Does he have ADD? Does he not realize he's in the middle of speaking. He kept stopping randomly and smiling.. omg just get on with it already! He infuriates me.. but I will say, I loveedddd Kim K's look last night! Not too overdone.
I loved Drake's speech about Rihanna, so adorable!

I have always loved Britney but it's so sad that she doesn't really dance anymore. She was never a great live singer, but she was an incredible dancer and performer. I've heard she has knee problems which is why she can't go all out anymore with the dancing. She was barely moving on that stage. Compare that to her 2000 performance where she was incredible.

Im sorry but I was so tired of seeing asses in my face all night. Why the fukk do all these artists have to wear thongs. I didnt let my dd watch last night its really bad. Between the two guys going "down" on nicky minaj and Ariana grande, beyonces ass shaking, britney feeling up whoever she was singing with lol, kaynes video , the girl singing with the chainsmokers, it goes on and on what happened to the good ole days with bands playing music Lol

You do realize that her 2000 performance was 16 years ago right? How many of us look like and can move like we did at 34 as we did at 18?! I think its unrealistic to expect that. She looks phenomenal.

Oh I agrees she looks amazing but she just doesn't dance anymore, which like I said, is a result of her knee injury. And 34 is not really too old to be able to move well, barring injury. She's not 84.

I said to my husband, if you cut off Beyonce's head in a picture and showed it to 100 people on the street, 95 of them would say she's too heavy and it is time to give up the body suits.
But since it's beyonce, there is only 5 of us who say its time to give up the leotards.  
At least Britney didn't have a visible stomach.
