Voting question
Where can I find out where to go to vote tomorrow? We moved in a few months ago and I don't know where to go. I tried looking online and couldn't find anything. TIA!

Re: Voting question
I was going to post this tonight! I don't know where my current voting spot is since I moved since the last vote.

Re: Voting question
When you applied for your new license did you check off the box for them to notify the board of elections of your new address?
If so, you should have received a card in the mail telling you your new voting place.
If not, you must re-register which I believe is too late or you must drive back to your old district and vote there.
The Board of Elections is probably very hard to get through to right now. I'd just go back to my old voting place and then take care of it there for next year.

Re: Voting question
I didn't update my license since it is just a few blocks away -- and my FIL still lives at our old address (we lived with him for about 6 months) -- since we rent this apartment I kept that on my liecense since it is more of like a "perminant residence."
However I did fill out a USPS change of address and vaguely remember getting a poll change postcard when we first moved in ... maybe from the change of address...
but stupid me didn't make note of where it was...
I guess I'll try my old place since it's very close and see if they let me vote! And I'll have DH do the same!

Re: Voting question
Found this website too Apparently in other states you can enter some info and it'll give you the polling site that you are registered under ... but NY doesn't offer that option...

Re: Voting question
I called my mom and asked her to check when she voted if I was still in the book. I was, so I went back to my old place. When I signed in, I told them I changed addresses and they wrote it in the back of their book. (They did get the new last nameright though )
