Wainscotting Question (pic)
Has anyone used tongue & groove Wainscoting? Is it easy to install? Where did you buy it from? Price? Thanks in advance. We are thinking about using this material for our ceiling in our Family Room. The look is going to be Coastal Cottage. We are trying to keep the room light and airy, so we thought this might look really nice and give the room some interest.

Re: Wainscotting Question (pic)
We're in the process of installing wainscotting in our baby's nursery but DH hasn't started yet. I will let you know how easy/hard it is. We bought everything from LI Paneling. They have a variety of selections. Our intentions were to buy the wood wainscotting however the price for a peice that was 4ft hight and 4ft wide was about $74. So needless to say not cheap. So they had faux wainscotting made out of sheet rock. This was half the price about $32 for the same size peice. Since we are not staining and painting it I didn't see why spend the extra $$$.

Re: Wainscotting Question (pic)
There are few options. you can by the wood in random lenghts and put the on the Ceiling or you can also by 4x8 sheets of paneling and instal a trim piece where the sheets would met.
Go to a Lumber yard. They can help you! Riverhead building is a great one...
I work there
