Waking up crying in the middle of the night?
DD is nine months old and has been STTN for a long time now!! For the past week or so, she's been waking up, multiple times, crying I have to pick her up, rock her for a few, and put her back in the crib (she'll cry for a few moments and go back to sleep). I'm not sure what's going on. She's visibly upset, but I can't figure out why. She's teething, but I don't think it's related to that (she doesn't seem to be in any pain during the day, or even when I get up at night with her). Did anyone else's DC go through a stage like this? Just wish I could figure out what's wrong!

If she's teething, I'm inclined to think that's the reason she is waking.

Do you put her in her crib wake enough so she can put herself to sleep? If not then she is probablyw aking up in the middle of the night and does not know hoe to put herself back to sleep. Otherwise I would categorize it as its one of those things that babies do because they are babies.

DD does that when she is teething or when she has an ear infection (which she typically gets when she is teething)

Yep, we put her in awake all the time - she easily puts herself to sleep, so I don't think it's that.
It probably is teething related. Poor thing also has diaper rash and a rash on her face - all of which are probably teething related. Do you think I should give her some tylenol or motrin before going down at night so she sleeps more comfortably?
