Has anyone else ever wondered why there are no dogs or cats? Especially on hirshals farm?
I think they made a big mistake by not having traps with alarms around the perimeter of the farm. the fire worked really well, a flammable moat would probably do the trick.
I wonder who was flying the helicopter?

Did anyone watch Talking Dead? I assume the helicopter was flown by someone having to do with that prison. They mentioned that Rick saw it in Season 1 and it was seen again in the beginning of this season. I don't remember it at all but thats what the producer said.
I really felt bad for Rick during his rant at the end. He can only be calm, cool and collected for so long before losing it.
I thought that they did a great job with the finale. They answered the cliffhanger question from the finale from season 1 and now we are left with something else to scratch our heads about until season 3.
They said on Talking Dead that season 3 will be more like the last 3 episodes in season 2... action packed with plenty of moments. I can't wait!!

Crazy...
I know this is a big character in the comics...but I didn't know until after...so it was a big shock...
Poor jimmy and other family member of hershel...crazy way to go!
The pan out of the prison at the end was crazy!

my thinking on this is that all the zombies are eating them.
The end scene was of a prision i did not realize this.
The helicopter flying i wonder what it was for i had a thought that they try to attract the walkers to on are so they can kill them all, but i realize that isnt really feaisble.
I am assuming the hooded person is from the city/prison? I also assume the other group randal was talking about is not from the city/prison.
If i was them i am not sure if i would want to go there

Last nights episode was awesome.
As far as the helicopter - I think those zombies were actually in Atlanta eating Rick's horse.
I love that they refer to them as a "herd".
The hooded character with the zombies on chains was awesome.
Lori and Carl need to go.

Serioulsy!!! When she actually got mad at Rick for what happened with Shane I was so mad! The whole issue with Shane was her fault anyway. She was the one who had the affair (ok - grant it she thought her hubby was dead - but geez!). And she was the one 1 or 2 episodes back that seemed to be pushing Rick to "take care of" Shane anyway. And then to be annoyed at Rick for the fact that Carl was the one who put Shane down!??!!? Watch your damn kid lady! You're in a zombie apocolypse and your hubby is hunting down a potential dangerous prisoner out in the woods at night...why wouldn't you have all eyes on your son?!?! Not like there's much else to do.

Can't stand both Laurie and Carl, either. I'm glad they got rid of a few excess characters. I thought Hershel was going to be killed, too. I didn't realize that was a prison at the end, either.

#1 I am so proud of Rick for finally laying down the law. He was never allowed to make the important decisions, but somehow it was always his fault when something went wrong.
#2 I hope Lori's baby is a zombie and eats her from the inside out (gruesome I know, but I cant stand her  )
#3 Carl is an idiot.
#4 Why didnt the men in the bar that they shot come back to life if they are all infected?  They were in there with them dead for a pretty long time.

i cant remember exactly but i am pretty sure rick made sure to shoot them in the head. As long as someones brain i guess is destroyed they will not come back has zombies.

the season finale was bonkers!!!!!! so amazing! so great that Rick finally put his foot down! the line "this is not a democracy anymore" was awesome! i hate that he is getting blamed for killing Shane when everyone was hoping he would leave anyway!
I think the helicopter may be some sect of the government that is still working out there somewhere trying to see how bad it is to report back.
Am i the only one that missed the chained zombies attached to Mishonne's chains? BUT WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i must try to find pics now!

AMAZING EPISODE!!!!!
I spent most of the show w.my hand over my mouth. It was a pure adrenalin rush.
From reading the comics I knew Michone right away and am super excited for her. If they stay within the comics storyline then season 3 is going to def be action packed.
That herd has been walking toward the farm since season 1. As shown they were eating Ricks horse, saw the same helicopter Rick saw.
I loved the memorium on Talking Dead for all the dead zombies lol we were reading all the random names.

Sophia's mother, whatever her name is, is dead weight. Hope she peaces out soon.

I assume that is so the zombie smell distracts the other zombies form smelling her.
Since they are chained & have no arms or jaws, I gues they aren't a threat.

I can't stand Lori or Carl either, they both frustrate the crap outta me!! I was wondering what that was when they panned out at the end, I thought it was another farm with the group Randall belonged too, but if it is a prison either way probably not a group they want to connect with. I hate that all these shows have such long breaks between seasons!!
