Want to bring something to my Dr's office:

I've seen this particular Dr almost weekly since June, and my last appt with them is tomorrow (aside from twice yearly bloodwork).

There are 4 women (25-50 yrs old) and 1 Dr (mid 40s, male).

I get the feeling that they're not really into cookies/cake/fattening food so much.

What would you bring?
Nothing too expensive, just a sweet "thanks for being so nice" gift. They do a great job of getting me in around my schedule...I don't ever wait when I'm there on my lunchbreak, etc.

Thanks!

Can you send them a breakfast spread one day maybe?

Or a lunch spread? Some quartered sandwiches and a pickle tray?

Re: Want to bring something to my Dr's office:

do they drink coffee? tea? I worked for years at a drs office and I would have LOVED this over the tons of cookies I received.

I would get a "good" coffee (lavazza, illy etc) an assortment of nice teas (earl grey, english/irish/scottish breakfast, green tea, chamomile, and maybe some good hot chocolate (chocolate shavings are YUM) and put it in a basket.

it's slightly decadent, but only as caloric and fattening as they want it to be. also perfect for the weather and could potentially last all winter.

you are a sweet peach for doing this.

Fresh fruit is always a great option -- you can do it really inexpensively ... cut up 2 pineapple, add a pint of strwaberries and put bowl of yogurt dip in the middle ... prob. less than $15.

You're too sweet! They'll appreciate anything.

I brought chocolates to my orthodontist office last week because I'm there every few weeks for appointments and they're always squeezing me and are great.

I do like Jessica's idea about the teas and coffee and Jess thank you again for recommending LaVazza I love it and am addicted to it. Nothing tastes as good lol

Oh....this sounds good!! You can get some nice teas/coffees/hot chocolates and biscotti. I think that appeals to a lot of people and their different tastes.

They have coffee/tea in the office...

I think I'll do the fresh fruit. Thanks Lea!

Or maybe even a veggie crudite with a ranch dip.

Thank you! Chat Icon

I would give each of them a $5 Starbucks card. with a note saying something like Happy Holidays. Thank you for all your help year round--the next coffee break is on me!
